A brief Biography and photos of
Jennifer Leigh Kynkor.
Jennifer Leigh Kynkor was a vibrant and beautiful 18-year-old freshman at Miami University (Ohio) who tragically lost her life in an automobile accident on September 13, 2003, when the young driver of the car she was riding in, fell asleep at the wheel. Jenny graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2003 from Mason High School with a 3.9 GPA. Jenny’s life was full of volunteer work and service to her community.
She began as a freshman in high school devoting her time to assisting a paralyzed neighbor with personal care. During her high school years she tutored students (especially those with ADD as Jenny herself was afflicted with ADD) in the middle school, intermediate school and elementary schools in Mason. She spent free time in high school volunteering in the Special Needs classes.
But she found her true passion in her senior year, when she had the opportunity to work with a 3-year-old autistic boy named, Ryan, doing Behavioral Modification Therapy and helping him with his speech. This compassion for children, especially those with learning disabilities, led Jenny to chose a major in speech pathology and psychology at Miami.
